The Big Kahuna 2011

Quiksilver & ROXY present The Big Kahuna 2011, the biggest longboard and longskate contest in the mediterranean spanish coast, an open competition for men and women with a total price money of 3.000 euros.

 

The waiting period for the 4^th annual event begins today, September 1^st  2011, allowing event organizers the opportunity to choose the optimal conditions to run the competition at Sitges, a beach close by Barcelona.

 

The good news is ROXY is holding there the second edition of ROXY LONGDAY FESTIVAL, an innovative concept by ROXY that mixes longboard and longskate just for girls in one day. Come and join us!

Candice O'Donnell works the mic as Europe's Best battle at ASP 4-star Quiksilver pro junior UK

Roxy Team rider Candice O'Donnell takes the mic at her local beach for the ASP 4-star Quiksilver European Pro junior event this past weekend in Newquay, interviewing and congratulating the winner of each heat.

With a surfboard being more familiar in her hand than a microphone, this was Candice's first outing as an interviewer. 

Girls on tour... SRI LANKA here we are!!

For the first time, sri lanka is hosting a girl event, so its good for everyone to get to know a new destination on tour..

We got here few days ago with the crew, lee ann, johanne, maud and nao (from japan).. Arriving in colombo and driving in a taxi through the all country.. i mean from the west coast to the east coast..

Crazy driving !! I m glad we didn't rent a car.. actually we all know that in those countries they re mad drivers.. overtaking any time any where.. cows in a middle of the road.. No signs.. and if any.. not ansderstandable ones!!

Roxy Weekend in Bundoran, Ireland

Last weekend Roxy girls Candice O'Donnell & Natalie Fox rocked up at Bundoran, Ireland - to host a Roxy coaching & activity weekend.

With surf lessons on Saturday + a beach clean & open beach session on the sunday to take part in.

Big thanks to Pete & Aidan from Bundoran Surf Co - for all their help in making the weekend a success!

These videos are from back in June when I got to meet pro tennis player Bethanie Mattek and teach her how to surf in the first vid. In the second one she tries to teach me and Sally how to play tennis (maybe the most embarrassing moment of my life because maybe 30 people were watching us and I'm horrible at tennis)
