Hellooo
This last
week my friend Bruna Schmitz and I stayed all week together and had lots of
fun! She came to Portugal to compete on the 6 star WQS at Guincho, a beautiful beach near my house!
In the
first few days we were used to surf in the morning early and after we went
visiting Lisbon! I showed to Bruna some places that I like in Lisbon! And after
in the end of the day we went surfing again! This is what we did in the first
two days before the contest starts. In the day before the contest starts we had
a really good barbeque with roxy team,
everyone from France, South Africa, Australia, Brazil and Portugal! The food
was really good and we had a brilliant time with our team mates! It was fun!!!
The
contest started on Saturday with really tricky conditions at Guincho, we both
got trough in our first heats. In the afternoon the contest site changed and we
move up to Bafureira, a beautiful beach close to Guincho, a point break! The
contest was on until 9 o’clock in the afternoon and unfortunately I got knocked
out in third round, in the end of the day. But Bruna made it.
Sunday
was the last day of competition. The waves were fun for the girls. Everyone
surfed really well and Sally Fitzgibbonswon.
She surfed amazing, congrats. Unlucky Bruna placed 9th which is not
a bad result at all.
